    Gordon Brown's legacy

BBC News - Gordon Brown 'to announce he will stand down as MP'

What should he been known for his time in office?

I like the term Prodigal - though he did not spend his own money he spent ours.

Broon; "OK darling, let's wait until it halves in price, then do it!"

I always got the impression that GB at least genuinely believed in what he was doing and cared about his constituents - going back to being a regular MP for several years, etc.
