    The Council have nicked the bench!

    Well, there's on the bench and there's on the bench.

    Homeless Somali family's bench ripped up by TfL after one of them is hospitalised (From Your Local Guardian)

    Can't imagine quite what it's like living on a bench for 9 months.

    For dear old Freako, this is a story about some Somali people who've spent nine months living on a bench in a street. When one of them was freighted off to hospital because of the cold, the council leapt into action & took their bench away. Sounds like benchism to me.

    Was that the only bench in Tooting?

    Seriously - its a disgraceful way to treat anyone in the UK - let alone a family. I hope the council provides somewhere.
