    Tasteless dishwater.

Surely can't be as bad as Liptons Yellow Label.

Which for some reason seems to be widely available here.

It's small wonder the continental types drink coffee instead.

      I do.

I have one of these: SPECIAL.T its pretty good or go into town to here: Teekontor Darmstadt | Dem Norden ganz nah. for North German tea which ain't too bad (although I do have a big selection of English floor sweepings teabags at home )

            Assam for me

Although I read the other day the producers are trying to sack the ladies who delicately pick the leaves by hand, with robots that rampage through the plantations practically tearing the tea plants out by the roots. So before long we can expect lots more large twigs and suchlike.

Leave the teabag in a bit longer? I like their everyday tea.

Indeed. Particularly if you live in an area with hard water.

Back in Scotty land you get builders tea after a 10 second dip.

                  1. Heat the cup for half a minute with a first lot of boiling water

                  2. Empty water, quickly pop in an Assam tea bag, pour in more boiling water, and leave for another minute or two.

                  3. Add sugar and milk

and there you have it - A proper sergeant major's brew
