grexit - lets get on with it.

Greece comes back to haunt eurozone as anti-Troika rebels scent power - Telegraph

I've been waiting for this for 2 years now.

UK politicians won't care as it won't cause damage to the UK economy until after the May election.

Have we not got a EU bill to pay? The people of Greece need that money.

No the people of greece need a lot of things. The biggest one would be for Germany to forgive the debt owed and just support their banks as the write off occurs instead of insisting on payments being made..

They will never forgive the debt. But they might do a land exchange deal.

We joke about it, but it's hard to see an alternative to something like that while the eurozone exists.

And we know that Greece is not the only problem country.

By that rational the British tax payer should forgive debts owed by banks for their reckless gambling.

I don't believe our banks are bankrupt. Greece is yet Germany refuses to let Greece go bankrupt. Hardly surprisingly the Greeks are now going to tell Germany exactly where to go...

The most painless short term way out is for Euroze to split into North and South - the South being led by France.
