A BT manager who made £124,000 in fake expense claims to support a mistress in Argentina has been jailed for two years.
Phillip Tamplin, 53, was part of a "culture of dishonesty" at the firm where dozens of managers and engineers have been fired for wrongly claiming cash.
He wired money directly to Argentina and showered his lover with presents when she visited him in London, paying off his credit card with more money wrongly taken from BT.
Tamplin invented clamped cars, overtime hours and damage to home owners' property during broadband installation.
He was found to have made more than 100 fraudulent claims in two and a half years. "
