Technology I'm sick of hearing about

    The Cloud

    3D printing

Can't envisage any conceivable situation where either would be remotely relevant to me (for my own use anyway).

You should get yourself a 3D printer and try this

You can always print your own gun and bullets if it gets too much for you.

you can build this on a 3d printer and connect it to the cloud so you don't just have to play with yourself.

Don't worry. People used to say that about mobile phones, mobile phones with camera's and I remember having conversations with people that went along the lines of:

"Why would I ever want the internet on my mobile phone? Whats the point? It's rubbish."

Now you cannot pry their Smartphones out of their hands.

You'll be using 3D printing before you know it. And you're already using "The Cloud".

There isn't just one "the cloud"

Ways in which I am using the cloud:

              1. Gmail
              2. Dropbox
              3. Google Drive
              4. Back Blaze (another cloud backup service)
              5. iCloud for photos, etc
              6. Any online company I deal with or website I visit that itself uses "the cloud"

Are you sure the cloud isn't relevant to you?
