    Those little wins

Despite being on a super busy project, I'm "tools down" until everyone else sorts their tulip out. And, despite being in the main project office, everyone else is either WFH or in a meeting - so I've taken the opportunity to scan all my receipts, do some book keeping, shunt some money around and generally do the stuff I'd normally do over the weekend. It's not much, but it feels good!

And the hotel agreed to do my laundry over the weekend for collection when I check in on Sunday night, saving a whole bunch of time.

I'm in exactly the same boat. I don't think I've done anything productive since coming back in the new year. Waiting for approval on the next phase before I can crack on.

"Just keep things ticking over", my London based project head said to me.

    Yesterday, I completed my self-assessment.

This morning I've applied for my passport renewal - it doesn't run out until June, but I thought I would get it done.

This afternoon I think I might put some more research into my plan B.

      How professional.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

That is really asking for it.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Yep. Getting paid for it is one definition of professional. I've never got the hang of other definitions - they all seem to involve being up your own backside (or someone else's).
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!
