Diesel prices really vary in a 5 mile area with a lot of pumps.

I paid 102.9 for diesel at ASDA in Bradford on 15th January. The source Free UK fuel prices. Over 8,000 petrol stations covered - PetrolPrices.com doesn't somehow reflect it !

because our Government takes more in tax. In fact its £0.5795 in tax with VAT applied on top. At £1.049 as I paid yesterday the government takes £0.7545 of that...

Who drives a diesel anyway, apart from taxi, van, bus and lorry drivers (and permies)?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

A good solution to this would be opening at least a 1000 German embassies with petrol refueling services on site, this would provide a much needed competition in the energy field.

Bullmud. Even petrol isn't that cheap here. Best price for diesel i've seen around here is 111.9. Best petrol was 104.9. No way anyone is selling it 8p cheaper
