    Lastminute.com Managers

Have to be the most irratating types going don't they? Everything, and I mean everything is a last minute, seat of the pants scramble and you are one of the victims sucked into their world of self induced chaos.

"Right team! we have to get this out to the client by 9am tomorrow latest!"

Its now 5pm, the day before

Some brave Sr Galahad - "I really don't think that's realistic seeing as it's now 5pm"

"Well it looks like you are on an all nighter then doesn't it!"

    9am the next day.......

"This isn't good enough to submit to them. I'll have to spend some time scribbling all over it with corrrections in red pen with my handwriting you need Egyption translators to decrypt"

    "What about the 9am deadline?"

"Oh, don't worry about that, I made that up to incentivise you lot to get a move on"

Sure, I'll pull an all-nighter. You do realise that my fee is tripled for work between 8pm and 7am?
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

          This.
The only reasons I'd hang around:
Im waiting for my poor permie colleagues so I can buy them beer (they can't afford)
I forgot to change the timezone

I'll see you in the morning. I'm off to the pub.

              This!!

Also since when have your goals suddenly become my goals?

But then we know that most middle managers only attained their position by kissing a$$ so they are limited from a skills perspective.
