When PWD doesnt look so good!

Yesterday in early. Just putting my coat on a 4-25 and it all goes red.

Fast forward to gone 8pm till I get out of the door. Home 9-30. Back on the train back here at 730am. Great fun.

Now is the time to wonder why you agreed to PWD. :-)

To be honest, they're pretty good here and I expect they'll see me right and this sort of thing is part of the deal. Emergencies I can deal with and will stay late, piss poor planning and organisation will not make me stay late!

But never great when you've got a long journey home anyway...

I'm on a PWD and have only had a similar experience once in the last five years, it's all about how you manage your clients
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Problem here is there are two elements to consider. The Professional Working Day and the OP. Can't put a square peg in round hole. Best to negotiate that term out of future contracts so it's more akin to the real situation hey....

PWD is a swings and roundabouts question provided you aren't a Grade A ous twat. Most companies allow people they don't regard as taking the mickey to work as and when they want...

Lucky for you then. Like I said, emergencies are fair game. Poor planning is not -I would agree this is where client management is important.

I know about client management, I moved up to North Wales and negotiated home working as my commute was going unmanageable.
