    Uke beginner kit

This lot look OK for an, ahem, soon to be 47 year old beginner?

    And perhaps a song book?

Highly recommend Ukulele for dummies and also get yourself a tuning app for your phone as well.

Speak to cojak as she gave me lots of tips.

Oh and get yourself to Ukulele cabaret at the Lincoln lounge in Kings cross once a month it's a really good laugh

I followed the advice on here when I got going. A proper tuner, not a phone app is necessary.

Oooh, they do Les Paul Uke! No Bigsby though. Mind you, not a fan of whammy bars...

It's worth having - the little clip-on Snark is my favourite - but not needed really, there are some good apps out there.
