How do you talk on your mobile?

I must have seen half a dozen people talking on their phones yesterday where they held the phone horizontally in front of their face mic-to-mouth and on speakerphone. It wasn't the first time I've noticed this.

I can almost sort of understand if you were listening to music and had headphones on when you received the call and so just brought the mic up to your mouth but not when you're on speaker.

Is there some advantage that I'm not seeing? It can't be a facetime thing because all the person on the other end would see is 5mp of nosehair.

These people were all middle aged rather than it being a youth thing

Tossers who think they look like they are on The Apprentice?

On the rare occasions that I use my phone, I use it like a phone.

I'm not on The Apprentice, nor do I want to be.

Ok, which is the bigger bellend:

People or hold their phone like in the original post or people who still use a bluetooth headset when not driving

              This stuff infuriates me...

Also often spotted are the people holding their phone in one hand and the little microphone on their headphones in their other hand - thus using two hands to talk "hands-free". Twunts.
