Green leader Bennett sorry for 'excruciating' interview

BBC News - Election 2015: Green leader Bennett sorry for 'excruciating' interview

And to think people actually intend to vote for this lot!

During an interview on LBC, Ms Bennett seemed to struggle to explain the funding model for the new homes, saying she had a "huge cold".

Later, speaking on the BBC's Daily Politics, she said a fully costed manifesto would be published in March.

"I had a very bad interview on housing this morning," she said.

"I am very happy to confess that and I am very sorry to the Green Party members who I did not do a very good job representing our policies on.

Yeah, the soaring support has yet to translate into media training (like, don't give interviews when you're ill). No doubt one could dig into the early days of any major party and find similar embarrassing blips.

Meanwhile, lack of social housing, homelessness and rough sleeping remain serious problems....
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

Funny as **** she had a brain fart moment. The interviewer was a little condescending when he asked if she was alright.

Not sure what having a brain fart has to do with anything about people wanting to vote for them. So what?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

It's easy to have idealist policies if you are never going to have to pay for them.

Agreed, just ask the Lib Dems
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]

Should have told them the "Why does it take three women with PMT to change a lightbulb" joke, that always calms them down
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It is nothing to do with "media training" it is a matter of policy (theirs do not add up) and competence. Their one Parliamentary seat is in Brighton

Seeking to defend the Greens’ beliefs – growth isn’t good for the country, full-time should not be necessary, membership of al-Qaeda and other terror groups should be decriminalised, the Army should be dismantled and replaced with a Dad’s Army civil defence force, etc, etc – she kept telling an exasperated Andrew Neil: “I would urge your viewers to go our website and see how the figures are worked out.”

Brighton, the one council they run, languishes at 306th out of 326 English councils for its recycling rate. Only a quarter of its rubbish was recycled in the last year, compared with two-thirds for the best authorities. For a supposedly green party, this is an astonishing failure.

We can all claim that we are "helping the homeless" and "rough sleeping remains a problem" but in reality those who proclaim they actually care are clearly lying otherwise they would not entrust the task of remedying this with an extremist organisation such as the Green party
