Before putting into a collection at the office

ask where the money is being stored overnight.

A card and cash went missing over last weekend. It was left in the care of idiot manager. Who forgot to lock it away.

Its an IB so everyone is a suspect....

      lol

I was very lucky. I never carry cash - only cards. I bought in cash the following day. By which time it was with idiot manager. So I saved a few quid there....

Happened on a project I was on a few years ago - I put the envelope in the hands of the stream lead when I left for the day.

Next day - no card, no cash, no envelope.

So our team ended up sticking a load more in to make up for the lead's ***** up - "I never had it" was the mantra he kept trying, and then eventually told me it was my fault for not locking it in my drawer overnight.

The guy leaving was really popular so there would have probably been over £150 in there as well.

Office theft ****s me off more than other things for some reason. I guess it's the fact it puts the suspicion on everyone and it will be someone that you thought you could trust. Ticks me right off.

I'm not racist but worked at a client with many hundreds of onshore workers and they had cameras in one office and when we moved offices stuff was going missing left right and centre. Someone left the keys in lock for the large overhead projectors and two of them went missing. It was unbelievable. Horrible environment to work in.

Cleaners are too scared to steal.

Either because they are illegal immigrants, they own the business or they are doing some other kind of dodge.

Hi Nige. How do you always have to much time to offer help on CUK when you're getting ready to fight an election.
