    Help Please.....

...I am basically rubbish in MS Excel.

I need what is something very basic, I would imagine, automating.

My go to geek has a day off - so I wondered...would anyone like to PM me and make my day??

PS. I considered putting this in Technical, but it's so simple that it'd be an insult to the term 'technical'.

I would expect something quite disturbing, and possibly illegal in many countries in return, are you still interested?

To be fair to the OP Excel is actually fairly complicated. It isn't as simple as the fix for most other things i.e. 'Have you tried turning it on'... I'll try and explain..

Firstly...'Have you tried putting the plug in and turning it on', switched on at the wall?
If that worked there will be a pretty picture on the screen with lots of small pictures to the left find one that says 'Excel' on it. It will be near the picture you use for internet shopping.
Press the button twice on the thing you have in your right handed when the funny arrow thing is over the Exel picture
If it starts vibrating, then you must be left handed. Press the button twice on the thing in your left hand instead.
A box with lots of little boxes in it will appear.
                    Problem solved.

                    HTH and YW.
