    What do they say?

Iraqi forces 'take revenge on ISIS with beheadings, and mutilations' | Daily Mail Online

    An eye for an eye?
    Que sera sera?
The boot is on the other foot?
    What goes around comes around?
Treat those as you want to be treated?
    Revenge is best served cold?

I'm absolutely disgusted. Disgraceful. Shouldn't happen.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

Journalists and newspapers need to be held far more accountable for the UK impact of this conflict.

The reporting so far has been all about Islamists vs minorities, Islamists vs Kurds, etc, and it's only when Sunni and Shiite Muslims are involved in alleged atrocities that they're headlines?

IMO there would be less controversy in the UK if the reporting from the start had more "Iraqi Muslims under attack from ISIS fanatics". Islam's not doing the best job of promoting itself as the "religion of peace" but journos are doing nothing to help either.

And why should they? Are they all supposed to be Islamic apologists/evangelists?

No, that would be the other extreme. The opposite of biased reporting is not biased reporting!

It seems to me, though, that if you continually tell a child that they are naughty, they will live up to that expectation.

Just like the Scottish Referendum where all the noisy 'Yes' voters got the news time but the reality was that it was the more moderate and quieter 'No' voters that prevailed, it seems to be the Choudarys of the UK Muslim community that get the airtime. Their controversial views and statements outrage middle Englanders and sell papers, and provide a disproportionate view of Muslims in the UK.

All I'm saying though is that if the conflict in Iraq was reported as Muslim vs Muslim, it might have a different effect on young Muslim people's minds than ISIS vs the West.

I don't see why not, treat them like they treat you. Wasn't it a few years ago where a couple of Russians were kidnapped by insurgents (an Arab group I believe) and threatened to cut their heads off if their demands weren't met. The Russians sent their special forces to the area, captured a couple of them, cut their heads of and sent them back whereupon the hostages were set free, basically don't **** with us! Something like these guys: Alpha Group - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
