    Long weekend thread

    Any plans?

Going home to find a gaggle of drunk birds at home today

Hopefully I can persuade some to visit my photo studio, but meh it will probably end up as Cards Against Humanity.

It all depends on whether my 3000w ringflash has turned up yet

Will be doing some Urbex hopefully without the missus as she's not in a fit state to outrun security with a load of camera gear

I'm halfway through a crate of mead, that will probably go tonight, so a visit to the local castle to acquire some more is on the cards

Like anyone else it's going to be a blur of booze and chocolate
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

As Ive been playing the ChruchOrgan for the past couple of years its a pretty busy weekend - tonight there is a Maundy Thursday service at 7.30pm then Good Friday at 3pm then Easter Vigil at 8:30pm on Saturday then 11.00am Sunday .

You can catch me at Saint John Ogilvie Parish Blantyre - or weekday masses at Our Lady of Lourdes East Kilbride - I guess its a bit different from playing the excellent Archiduc Jazz Bar in Brussels - but it keeps me off the streets.

Then as most Sunday evenings I will be working at the Wayside Soup Kitchen in Glasgow on Easter Sunday night - which just goes to show there is no rest for the wicked.

On the bright side I predict a return of the good weather we had Last Easter - Here Comes the Sun King !

          Tomorrow - sleep.
Saturday - drop the dog off at sis-in-laws, then my wife and I are into London for the night, seeing The 39 Steps, dinner at one of Gordon effin Ramsey's places, staying at a nice hotel - it's my wife's birthday on Sunday so a bit of a treat.
Rest of the long weekend will depend on weather, maybe mow the lawn at last, go on a bike ride, or else sit at home and play games.

            Tomorrow - odds and sods
Saturday - entertaining children while Mrs Eek sells chocolates
Sunday - All the family are at ours
Monday - trip to Beverley to sightsee
Tuesday - Visit to the deep and show that Dad isn't all work and no play (yes I do take holidays)
            Wednesday - back to work

Curious bit will be whether dealing with car dealer enters the picture (see TPD).... The manager seems to be far keener to talk to me than I am talking to him...

Popping back home for a bit to check on the SYs.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

You do know that for a successful egg hunt you tell the children there are 12 eggs to find but only actually hide 10, don't you?
                  Keeps them occupied for ages.

Never reveal total numbers. Just ask do you think you've got them all and kick them outside again...
