    Green party in practice

    How will this work?

    Lets assume Greens get 1MP.

Conservative get 290 and form a minority/coalition government.

Government put Proposal A through the HoP.

Greens don't like the proposal, so vote against it

Labour get 290 and form a minority/coalition government

Government put Proposal A through the HoP.

Greens don't like the proposal so vote against it

So I don't buy it that Greens can vote down trident, yes they can vote against it, and probably will no matter who is in government, but if the majority of the 650 MPs vote for trident, then Greens vote becomes irrelevant

    (or any other minor party)

What's ironic is the some of the Offical green policies

Like a complete ban on cages for hens and rabbits

Would that also target 'the good life' style environmentalists who have their own chickens, or people like me that when possible like to know where there food comes from

I've got hens at home but if I let them roam wild, eventually they'd all be ripped to death by foxes rather live out their natural lives in peace, that doesn't seem very green to me
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.
