Maybe they can afford a babysitter...

... instead of leaving their kids home alone while they go out on the razz.

If they were working class scroats rather than middle class professionals they would have been demonised long ago. Fact is me and Mrs STJ would never leave no 1 son and no 1 daughter with anyone, only exception is both sets of grandparents where they can stay every now and then.

And you think they haven't been?

I can't believe we've got yet another 'Slag off the McCanns' thread. Nice one Brillo.

Sorry that expecting people to look after their children should be seen as slagging off.

I would never have done what they did. I can't believe anyone would do it. And I can't believe anyone would defend it.

I don't condemn people like Mrs Bulger who turn their back for a moment. Everyone has done that at some point. But to deliberately leave children unattended for hours is not on.

We've been through this many many many many times before.

Just because you are middle class and a doctor* doesn't mean you have commonsense when dealing with everyday matters.

*insert middle class profession of your choice there

You should see it on social media, every Chav has turned into Katie Hopkins along with half of the scrotes here
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

                Me neither.

Weird story about that. Mrs takes youngest to playgroup sort of thing. A month or so ago got talking to another mum there and got friendly. Arrange to meet there every week sort of thing.

Anyway, last week out of the blue, says shes selling her house and urgently needs to clean it. Can my wife look after her daughter for a few hours tomorrow morning?

Wife was on the spot a bit and had to agree. In the end, it didnt happen (maybe other mum had a think about it).

But how on earth could you consider leaving your child with someone you've known for a month? Defies belief. Emergency maybe you'd have to - i.e. they were at playgroup together and she got a call that close relative had been rushed to hospital. But, to clean your house!!!!!

I am not sure they have anything to learn about child care from you

What's your cutoff? Two months? 3 years?

My son has a play date after school today with one of his mates around at ours, I've only met the mother 4 or 5 times and have never met the father, are you saying that they are irresponsible?
