The mask slips, and they put a price on your life (http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/irfon-williams-first-minister-rejects-9574607)

The real face of Labour, the NHS is a vote winner for them but they don't give a tulip about you

Thank goodness it's only Wales they have any power left

We labour while they party

That is a silly statement as the NHS in England isn't any better.

It's a complete postcode lottery, which you only find out if you have an injury or disease that is potentially life threatening.

So you can get a treatment in one area but not in another, and the speed of treatment will vary especially if you have to get past the gatekeepers.

I think the MP's comments show how little they care.

Diagnosed with bowel cancer last year which then spread to his liver, Irfon was told by specialists that Cetuximab could prolong his life and give him a 15% chance of a recovery by letting them operate.

The 44 year-old had to move to Ellesmere Port to access the treatment which was refused to him by the Welsh Government a total of four times.

Now the dad of five is preparing for surgery which could cure him after scans showed the drug called Cetuximab had shrunk cancerous tumours on his liver by 60%.

Whilst answering questions in the Senedd this week, Carwyn Jones told Irfon to reapply for treatment under the Individual Patient Funding Request (IPFR) as he’d had a “very unusual reaction” to the drug.

there is the postcode lottery which I agree is sadly standard but Mr Jones' comments are pretty stupid & heartless.

But we know politicians are only interested in furthering their own career.

And they will happily do it while dancing on the skulls of dead children if they could get away with it.

whilst that may be true the spin doctors like to make it look like they only appear on strictly and woe betide any politician that steps out of line. Lets hope they strike in this case.

Why would an IT contractor obsess about NHS dentists? Most dental treatment costs only pennies anyway.

True labour killed thousands at mid staffs, their failure isn't confined to Wales
