Long past time the French take action.

Dozens of Calais migrants try to storm Channel Tunnel - BBC News

Calais migrants: How is the UK-France border policed? - BBC News

Calais migrant chaos: 'I've been threatened with machetes' - BBC News

I realise it's not all that simple, but with all the violence, criminal damage, law breaking and sheer expense of dealing with the situation isn't it time that the French stopped pussy footing around, scrape the whole load of "migrants" up and shipped them back to whatever craphole they came from?

They can't be actual refugees as those would have requested asylum rather than trying to get to the UK.

This situation has gone on for years and the faffing about and refusal to make a decision by the authorities has achieved exactly nothing.

Why on earth would the cheese eating surrender monkeys want to stop the immigrants leaving their soil?

No, I think it really is all that simple.

If they are in France illegally the French authorities should round them up, process them, and send them back to their home countries. Or if they have an asylum case for staying in Europe then under international rules the French should process them.

The trouble is that most of them will have no documents identifying either them or their home countries, so France is happy for them to simply get on a truck and leave and pass the problem over to the UK border control.

        You've nailed it
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

fine so when they arrive here we just put them on the next lorry back..

but yes if the French continue to completely fail in their responsibility to police their borders they we may need to invade and make Calais English - that way we can keep them in France and hopefully they will feck off back to where they came from.

Did anyone read yesterday about on the Jihadi brides who was tweeting Loooool about the 30 British people shot dead in Tunisia?

There is a real threat as we have no idea who these people coming from France are and whether they pose a significant threat to the Freedom of the UK.

Plan B. Setup a website bring together Calais migrants with those who will bring them into the UK for a large Bunsen(burner).

This time next year Rodney, we'll be in prison....

We're an island, the only thing stopping it being an island is the chunnel

So why not close the channel tunnel, freight could go via Holland instead of France

If it's not immigration, it's the annual strikes and blockades in Calais that make the place unsuitable for haulage

Holidaymakers will still have ferries in Dover, or Poole if they're desperate, but pushing the freight through a country that hates us less might be worth a try

The solution, is to improve the quality of life in Africa and the Middle East, to reduce the compelling need to migrate.

The trouble is the folks who call for deportation also call for foreign aid cuts. And so the wheel turns...

Every time we interfere in other countries we make things worse.
