Summer Labour Punch and Judy show

I have enjoyed this over the last couple of months, and it's not over yet!

So we from this Blairite MP Liz Kendall emerges as favourite in Labour leadership stakes - Telegraph to this Labour leadership election: Kendall refuses to quit the race | The Week UK

All because it started here Labour leadership: Jeremy Corbyn completes the line-up - BBC News and now ends up here Jeremy Corbyn: Labour MPs are plotting a coup against the potential leader if he is elected - UK - News - The Independent

And for those who have lived under a stone, here's The Poke's summary. The Poke guide to the Labour leadership election | The Poke

"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

Have you not paid your £3 to extend the fun by voting...

I really can't bring myself to vote for Burnham (he can't win the NHS argument against Hunt of all people) or Cooper (Mrs Ed Balls). So the choice is Kendell (looked good but is slowing down) or Corbyn (entertainment central but will actually take a stand and provide some opposition.

I can see why Corbyn could well win (the other options are just )
merely at clientco for the entertainment

I'm on the edge of my seat.

Yvette Cooper is the only one I've actually heard of, so I hope she wins.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

        Meh she's full of balls
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Liz Kendal is easy on the eye but she is shocking when put under any pressure in an interview. Not one of them is in the least bit statesman like. None of them will ever be a Prime Minister.

Please choose Jeremy Corbyn. Please, please, please. Their destruction in Scotland will be as nothing compared to their annihilation in England next time around.

As much as it's fun to see Labour crash and burn, we do need to have an effective opposition and I don't think we've had one, ironically, since Cameron was opposition leader.

agree they desperately need to realise we need neither some tax & spend lefty or a warmongering lying scumbag. Then maybe they can put forward a candidate that won't disgust most of the electorate.
