Does your CV have a Bio?

Having a natter with an agent today, and she suggested I add one. In the interest of keeping it short I have always not bothered.

But then again, my CV is a bit strange as I have both Business Analyst type roles, along with more technical roles so a Bio would be a good chance to explain myself.

Should it even be called a Bio, or is that for s?

Would you write it in the first or third person?
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

What do you mean by bio? Mine has a statement along the lines of

A freelance xxxx and xxxxx consultant with xxx years of experience, specialising in blah de blah.

Qualified as a xxxxx, and with xxxxxx knowledge, I have delivered over xxx projects to xxxx of users etc etc
Although, "in the interest of keeping it short" - you're trolling, right?

No, serious question for the panel. If you would like I can start a trolling thread just for you.

Professional Summary is a better description that Bio

            I have:
            • Professional Summary
            • Skills
            • Key Projects Descriptions
            • Work History

I have a gig and you don't, guess mine works better than yours

Yes most consultant type contractors include a bio, but Suity please not your boring life story, keep it short.

Thousands of now bankrupt clients with poor hiring records can't be wrong!"

Something else I've been considering adding. Then again my own CV bores me to tears so it's hard to get enthusiastic enough to do this.
MudSkipper sent a link to a vid of this guy who was touting for business re-writing CVs. He showed a "Portfolio based" format which sounded like the kind of fluff you need at Programme manager type gigs, but it was based around this kind of idea.

This ^, minus the Key Projects bit. I have 3 clients atm so it's clearly not that important.
