    GDS "reshuffle"?

Mike Bracken suddenly decides to quit GOV.UK outfit GDS

Could be interesting if the axe starts getting swung at government projects. I'd bet my last Freddo that gov.uk stuff would end up amazingly broken to a degree that'd give even Crapita chills..

Sounds like someone with clout has finally called them on what they have delivered. Hint: Feck all.

700 full-time staff and contractors.... I'll bet that's something more like 20 full time staff and 682 contractors.

It certainly was when I was there, although they were actively cutting back on contractors and bringing in permanent staff. Problem was on the area I was in it was the contractors who had built it and made it work and they replaced them with permies who knew noting about it. when GDS took over.

          It's the only ex-client I tell agents I won't go back to.

Who has offered him a job with more money and the bonus of not working with civil servants then?

Well the plan didn't work very well as it's still extremely contractor heavy.
