Regrets? I've had a few. But then again. Too few to mention....And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster. -

Combination of more project-based work, dumping of office politics and desire to finance my pension fund rather than rely on what steaming pile of sweet FA will be left in the pension funds in 25-30 years. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

I worked alongside a bunch of contractors at Companies House where I was a permie, one of them pulled me aside and said I should go contracting as had really good testing skills. I asked how I could get into contracting and he said firstly build my skill set by leaving and picking up other testing skills like load, stress and performance testing, as well as automation and mobile testing skills.
3 years after that I was ready for contracting, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. In Scooter we trustComment
