    Jeremy Corbyn

I find it funny that Labour party chiefs are saying that Labour wont win if Jeremy is leader and that Tories are infiltrating to get him elected.

What a load of nonsense. I am starting to like the fella. He is straight talking, speaks in non politician tones, actually cares about people. I actually think he will make a great PM and I am pretty sure the nation is thinking the same. So in fact, he will actually help Labour win massively in the next election, he is their only hope !

His policies have to be agreed at the Labour conference, don't they (should he win) ? I don't think he will manage to get all the things he's been saying agreed. He will have to make concession. Also, I don't think he is electable at a national level. He says the right things, but so did Tspiras. When reality bites (when you actually get into government), you realise the whole truth and have to make concessions (which could be a u-turn).

Nationalising trains, utilities, free university all looks good in speeches and in principal. But then you have to raise tax somewhere else to pay for all this. Who pays ? Increasing corporation taxes ? Income taxes ? A plumber, bricke could say I didn't go to Uni, don't use trains why should I be subsidising them ?

The defence spend more than covers all of this - leaving NATO and scrapping trident + hitting the 1% hard could achieve all of this and more.

That is massive change though and actually pulling it off will involve taking on some very powerful and nasty people, plus will be a big vote loser. I love the sound of what he saying and would also love to see it actually happen. It's very radical though so we'll have to see how it all unfolds...

He does seem to have huge momentum building and appear to be the real deal - interesting and exciting times!

Which bits of Sharia Law do you think Comrade Corbyn will want to implement first ?
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Not really. He may well win the Labour leadership election but he won't get within a million miles of becoming Prime Minister.

He needs to lose the beard, he looks like a member of CAMRA or spokesman for the welsh rambling society.

Silly why that would matter, but it does.
