Expect the weather to deteriorate :

Our graphics are already supplied by another provider and our long standing relationship with the Met Office will continue as we intend to still broadcast their severe weather warnings."

Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

EU tendering rules forced the BBC's hands.

And to think all the bods at the Beeb and the Met Office used to really like the EU !

For more fun and games in the public sector just wait till our EU negotiated TTIP agreement with the Yanks kicks in.

Doesn't matter who they get it from, the originator for all weather forecast providers is still Eumetsat...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Nothing to do with the EU They could have just put in a reasonable bid and without being arrogant, thinking they would get the contract. See this happen in contract after contract with BT for example.
