Suspected illegal immigrant charged after 'walking through Channel Tunnel'

    Well there's a thing.

You just never know when the 1861 Railway Act will come in handy.

    I wonder if he'll be fined 40/-.

(That's 40 shillings or £2/0/0 for the uninformed).

For dear old freako, this refers to the illegal who walked through most of the channel tunnel on his way to nirvana.

He should be made to pay full single peak price of a fast train ticket from Birmingham to London.

Once he knows how much it is, he'll walk back to France.

Through an interpreter, he pleaded not guilty to obstructing an engine or carriage under the 1861 Railway Act.

He was remanded in custody until January 4 next year.
Why the fack should we bear:

      - His cost of interpreter.
      - His stay at Her Majesty's leisure

Not guilty? Did he say he got lost looking for the bog or summat?

+1, Just stick him under the train back to Calais, he's used to holding on and if he does fall off...
