For Halo, show the Brickies a thing or two

Brick Laying Robot Does It Better | Hackaday

Meet SAM, the Semi Automated Mason. SAM can lay bricks three times faster than a normal brick layer. SAM isn’t planning on taking away any jobs yet though — it still needs a human mason following behind to clean up the mortar.
    quite cool.

It's gonna have to lay them a lot faster than that to make it more cost efficient than a troop of eastern Europeans though.

Yes I have seen that – really not a threat to brickies yet:

        Set up time
        Capital outlay
        Laying Patterned & facing bricks
        Working in confined areas,
        Corners, curves & architectural details
Being out in all weather conditions
        Security (someone will nick it)

3D printing will have more of an impact on construction.

I'd love to see a 3d printer that could print a house...

Thanks! that's incredible, the applications that could be put too are too much to comprehend. Imagine mixing moondust with a binder and printing a moonbase!

These are pretty cool and are in use now:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
