    I sometimes think I'm a bit sad

    But compared with

    Historical Railway Photograph Gallery 0301-0350

    I see I'm a pillar of rationality.

How many pictures of bits of railway does anyone need?

There's not even engines & stuff.

    Just rails.

    And more rails.

    And even more rails.

And if you're bored with those, there's more rails again.

    And sometimes some points.

Just to make sure it's not totally pointless.

    Gricer?

    Is this your site?

    Just asking like.

Though, to be fair, some of the rails have vanished, so all you've got left is the ballast.

    Yep, that's interesting.

Obviously the site of an afficionado of disused railways.

I've explored a few myself in my time but don't really bother much any more as most of them have been converted to cycle paths.

That's a great site, I volunteer on a heritage railway and was sitting behind the driver on an old DMU last night just watching the track go by, we only have a mile of track though, so limited time to get bored of it.

        Metro Cammell?

I was reminiscing about DMUs the other day - how they changed gear & the rasping exhaust sound

Certainly none where the thumbnail-sized images are not even clickable.
