    By the right, Exten-shun!

Boomed – just heard I am being extended until just before Christmas. Perfect as it will give me a nice Christmas break, with hopefully minimal bench time until the new year.

Regarding new year searching – Any value in starting the search mid December for a January start, or close down and wait until January?

I'm in exactly the same position. The Xmas search is a drag. But I've worked my socks off all year so if I have a few weeks off so be it. Best of luck.

I found my current gig Dec 2014 ( extended until march now ) and my first gig Dec 2012 so it's definitely possible but as long as you're active on jobserve the recruiters will come to you.

There are no holidays, just enforced bench days.
