    New mortgage

I have just got confirmation that my mortgage has been approved which is great.

I am excited as it is a new venture for me as I will be renting out my current house.
However if the truth be known I am nervous as well.
Currently my mortgage payment is only £398 a month but that will rise to £1,071 on the new property.
My day rate is good, at £330 a day and have done the maths and can even afford to overpay each month but has anyone else done the same as what I am doing? Is it normal to feel nervous?

£1650 a week and you are worrying about a £1k mortgage? FFS MTFU.

I wonder what Brian Conley used to say that may be appropriate for the thread starter and that sad sack GittinsGal clone?

You are suspected of being a sockpuppet, but I know this is not the case. However, you should read the subtitle of the General forum...

Well I'm sorry I've caused offence to anyone - I really didn't mean to. I was hoping to be able to talk to other contractors in a similar position to me about it -
And yes I probably am over worrying unnecessarily but it is my nature
