The tax investigation insurance you get with the PCG on joining does that require the contract to be reviewed before the insurance is valid, also would it cover a contract Ive already started...yesterday ?

No you do not need to be a member when starting the contract and you do not need to check the contract either.

As long as you are a member when the letter telling you that they think you are caught then you are covered. Purchase PCG+ and you are covered from the time they start a PAYE investigation.
