Me too.

Still, Sharm is quite a nice place to get stuck. If you're going to be stuck, get stuck somewhere you can snorkel, dive, sunbathe and buy 10 postcards for a pound.

You have never been stuck have you?

I was forced into it once. In St Lucia. It was hell.

Sorry I digress. Back on topic. Are we sure it was a bomb?

I have been stuck. But not in the travelling sense unless you count travelling through this thing we call life. In fact, I'm a bit stuck now. Do you want to hear about it?

I think they think it was likely to have been a bomb. Nothing's certain. When is it ever?

Are you trying to distract me from the thread title?

If you don't mind sharing I would love to hear. Amazingly I have a dearth of problems right now!

I am quite sure that MF is a twunt.

They reckon they heard an explosion.

Apparently just 40% of insurances cover terrorist attacks.

Having met him a few times, he's OK, as indeed are most people. In fact, I think it's his turn to buy lunch.

I read a review of a Mandela book a few years ago, Mandela wanted to prove how man he was to the armed struggle so he took an air rifle into the garden and shot a songbird, he was racked with guilt for weeks.

Hitler poisoned his dog with a cyanide pill to see how effective it was before he and his Mrs took theirs....

I would have tested it on the missus before giving it to the dog and myself.

I hear that he was involved in some violent stuff.

My accountant reckons it was a bomb!

Hitler of course was the creation of UK and American imperialism

Mandela was undoubtedly a flawed person, his politics were often nonsensical but then when you are banned from practising politics for your formative years how are you going to learn to be an effective politician.

There is some show on the history channel at the moment about finding Hitler, the premise is that he never died in the bunker but escaped.

I think it is along the same lines as the Oak Island program where they dig a hole, find a rust nail and then insist that the Arc of the Covenant is buried 200 feet under it.

He bit on a pill and shot himself at the same time. Didn't want to look like a coward apparently.

Nope, he was a right wing nut job. He believed that those from foreign countries should not be allowed in, or if your skin was the wrong colour or you were the wrong religion. He rejected the ideas of others and when proved wrong he put the blame back on them, saying they were only doing it for money or power.

Some might say that he found jobs for thousands of people - in the army, in manufacturing, etc, and all he took was 20% commission tax.

Hitler never really wanted to harm the Jews, it was a Palestinian that told him to kill them all.

Hey, Netanyahu said that so it must be true.

Was the pill Chinese or summat? Not sure when it wouldn't work ....

It's cos he was dead hard and a mere bullet or mere cyanide alone wouldn't have done the trick.

Or because he was given the pills by Himmler whom had disgraced himself in Adolph's eyes by trying to negotiate a true with the Western allies via Count Bernadote of Sweden, therefore Hitler needed to test the pills efficacy.

One of those things. I think Mandella might have put him up to the bad stuff also.
