    Forced Relocation of Ltd Company

    Hi,

It's probably quite a rare situation, but if a limited company is being forcibly (and legally) relocated by a utility company - what are their rights and what are they entitled to? Does anyone have any links or information on what to do if this happens?

    Thanks!

Can you extrapolate a bit more?

Are the utilities company forcibly moving your registered office? Do they own the building? Is it a compulsory purchase?

Hi, thanks for your quick response. Yes, they are moving the registered office. It's not a compulsory purchase - it's for work that needs to be done in the area. They don't own the building, someone else does and they are also getting moved temporarily for a number of years - possibly up to 7 years while some work is going on.
