    Now get out of that.

    Bit of a parking problem.

Gosforth sinkhole: Craster Square closed off as 20ft crater opens up | Metro News

For dear old Freako, this relates to a story about a rather large sinkhole in Gosforth which is apparently an old mine shaft.

Plainly capped with nothing much from the looks of it.

How about a sinkhole with a steam engine at the bottom?

Some of you may be old enough to remeber the TV show "Now Get Out Of That"

It was a bit like the Anneka Rice treasure hunt programme combined with outward bound style activities and teams were made up of college students.

      I was on it!

Well not on TV because we failed to make it through the preliminaries.

All my fault - I failed to get a dozen free range eggs to the other end of the aerial sky walk in one piece...

...so I never got to meet Ron Pickering (or was it Michael Axelrodd, I can't remember)

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.
