Doctor Who - How bad?

I don't blame Jenna Coleman or Peter Capaldi - I think it's poor quality scripts.

But this season of Doctor Who is utterly poor.

Wife thinks its all Capaldi's fault.

Myself I think its the Producer and writer's fault. Some utter garbage for stories and will surely see the show cancelled if this continues into S10.

Not seen last nights yet, but I thought it was better than last series. Loving the new Capaldi and really warning to him

Gattis is a horror buff, which is why he ripped key points from "The Ring". If some of the events play into the main story arc, then it'll be ok. But if not, it was rubbish.

Capaldi is great. Coleman is stale. Last season was far worse - there's been some quite good episodes this season.

Quite like Gattis but last night was about as scary as an episode of Peppa Pig and nowhere near as entertaining. Capaldi is good but yep Clara has to go. So far the 2 parter with the Zygons get my vote as the weakest episodes.

I gave up with that one, it was utter pants.

I find the scripts mostly incomprehensible pseudo-jargon and the action jumps from place to place with barely any explanation or reason. Ask any young viewer 'what happened in Dr.Who last night?' and I'll bet they don't have a clue. How the writers and producers can watch the end result with a feeling of satisfaction is beyond me.

The episode with Maisie Williams as the highway(wo)man I really liked. The girl who can't die. Turned out to be just one diamond in among the cow pats.

Got to agree with this. The show needs more of Missy's character back although how they explain her escaping from the Daleks could be interesting.

People saying Clara's gone stale are talking rot. The double role she played in Zygons showed what she's capable off and proves its the writing that's utter crap not the actress (although she is leaving very soon).

At least they dont have Coleman running around screaming all the time so we should be thankful for small mercies I suppose.
