Except Supernanny doesn't sit on their faceSocialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

So first Russia were insisting that the plane was shot down from the ground, not another plane. That was proved wrong.
Then they were insisting no warnings were given. Turkey released tapes of the warnings (yes, could be faked, I know).
Now they are insisting that the plane never entered Turkish airspace, and that the crash happened in a different spot than Turkey say - you'd think that could be easily proved one way or another, but neither side has (yet) released evidence.
How long before every one of Russia's claims is shown to be false? Of course, they will never accept any evidence as it would be too embarrassing after the way they've ratcheted up tensions - they'll be like LD, EO and DA in a thread with pjclarke.Comment

Russia just has a different side to the story to tell. After all if you aren't listening you won't hear the warning to stay out of a county's airspace.
Oh and I think Russian pilots may now be more careful about "accidentally" going in to a NATO country's airspace like the UK or Canada."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Turkey said they will do it again.
So what Russia will be doing now is aiming S400 anti-aircraft system at Turkish airplanes to get missile lock on them whilst Su24 will be doing exactly the same flypath in Turkish territory.
There are 40 nuclear bombs (owned by USA) in Turkey...Comment
