Black friday - any good laptop deals for sub £300?

Any good laptop deals for sub £300?

Doesn't have to be super powerful - minimum 15" screen and good enough for surfing and Excel/Word type tasks.

    (it's for the Mrs...)

Depends. Does the Mrs prefer porn on a big screen?

Check Currys, they seem to have quite a few sub-£300.

The last time I bought a laptop was in 2004. The last time I bought a desktop was in 2008.

So I'm a little out of touch as to what I should be getting for my £300 laptop!

Probably. Do you not have a computer with a search facility?

                I wouldn't take that as a certainty.
