The CUK "I am a pilot" thread

You will notice that my avatar is that of a fine light aircraft, the registration of which is my username.
I'm a recently qualified pilot, and spent the summer flying the thing around the UK, from Hampshire to Lands End, up to Scotland and Ben Nevis, and over to Deauville in France to name but a few of my destinations. 90-knot cruise, 300 mile range, and 10,000 feet altitude. And only £40/hour to use, inc fuel. What's not to like?

Just wondering whether any of you lot are also pilots? - tell us about the beasts that you fly.

I've just bought a Vulcan off eBay, no pilot's licence though but I got Extreme Landings on 'puter....

Well I've taken her up to 10,000 feet over the Isle of Wight, which is 2 miles.
Unfortunately I was not accompanied by two ladies though..
