Competition, now in its 17th year, is held in the New Inn pub in Wedmore

I think the most surprising thing about that story is that the Mail actually included a link to the Independent story they'd copied wholesale, albeit in very small letters right at the end. Maybe the other newspapers have finally started threatening them with legal action over their blatant and persistent content theft?
