With respect to investments and money, I only take the official advice from AtW.

      From the article:

      1. The Baltic Dry Index, a measure of shipping rates and a barometer for worldwide commodity demand, recently fell to its lowest level since 1985. This index clearly portrays the dramatic decrease in global trade and forebodes a worldwide recession. ...
I read somewhere that the reduction in the Baltic Index is partly due to the fact that a lot of Chinese exports are now being transported on a new railway line crossing China and Russia, and less by container ship.

That said, there do seem to be a load of red lights flashing.

I tried that. But thankfully selling the big issue has helped get me back on my feet.

          This isn't the USA.

There was a lorry driver on R4 talking about the immigrants getting more aggressive trying to get a ride across the pond. He now carried a self defence weapon... A cricket bat! Love it.

Not to worry. We'll soon have Trump in the White House, Le Pen in the Élysée Palace and Comrade Corbyn in No 10. What could go wrong??

Nothing to do with them, but C'est la vie if they get the blame. This bubble is the last 30 years of failed policy culmination in QE ZIRP. Regan & Thatcher. Maybe even as far back as Nixon.
