    Are we contractors allowed to throw annual party and deduct £150 / £300 (with partner) expenses? Short question, i asked my accountant but they are asleep

                You cannot deduct £300 from a larger bill. You can expense a claim for a meal and accommodation etc where the bill was up to but did not exceed £300.
