Ceasefire?

I request a ceasefire. The current hostilities are not doing either of us any good. It is a pain for me to find proxie servers, as it must be for the admins here to keep banning me.

I'm not exactly trolling this forum, as I contract in the UK and this forum is a good source of information.

A signup script could have an anti-proxy check - basically assume the source IP/port is a proxy and try to use it as proxy to retrieve some url that should definately work (some high up time host), if it works (which it will if it is a public proxy usually used by spammers), then disallow registration or put it on hold.
