    House Insurance at Business Address

    Hello,

Quick question - my Ltd company is in a dormant state while I'm permie for a while (I know ), and my house insurance is up for renewal. As it's the registered address of my company, can anyone confirm that I will need to pay for separate Business Use cover, even though I never work from there these days.

    Cheers

I told my house insurers that there is some business use at my property - there was no extra charge. So might be worth calling your insurance company - if it costs nothing you lose nothing by having it!

I 'ticked the box' for "administrative business use" on one of those 'find the best insurance' web sites. 75% of the replies were "X refuse to quote because of business use".
