Don't use English money there, they don't accept it but you can use the "That's legal tender, pal" argument which they will respect you for!

When you going? Winter's a bit of a bleak time of year to go. The days are very short, and the weather likely to be dreich.

Persuade them to postpone until May.

No need for Euros, just take a few bottle of Bucky and barter.

I'm guess you get a better rate on that, on the bottle, than White Lightening?

Yeah, taking Bucky to Scotland to use as currency is a great idea, cause there's such a shortage of it.

Next time you get invited to a civil partnership in the sahara, remember to take some sand.

Could be a nice earner. Sheikh to import 3,000 tons of sand from Lancashire - Telegraph

Last time I went to Scotland I stayed in a nice hotel. I could tell it was nice cause it had a complimentary bottle of buckie on the side, along with a selection of takeaway menus and a bucket of sawdust for soaking up puke.
