Reporting from my hotel room in Bogata with a horrible cold.

I am stunned by the size of the IT outsourcing industry here, it feels like Bangalore a decade ago.

Lots of government tax breaks and drive with big players like Telefonica (In a telcos interest to get comms up to an outsourcing hot spot ).

Quite surprised by the scale of it.

Just want to check, you've got a blocked nose and you're talking about Colombia's greatest export?

I am outsourcing my own job to Bogota. The cost efficiencies mandate it.

That's why other countries product tends to be better, no nose problems **
