UK Asylum claims break 5,000 per month for first time - Telegraph

So neither of you understand the difference between asylum seekers and free movement of EU nationals between member states?

5000 asylum seekers a month is about 10% of net immigration currently. And these people are here looking to stay alive, not claim benefits.

5000 asylum seekers a month is about 10% of net immigration currently to UK which has no land borders with most countries generating asylum seekers.. And these people and those from recent accession countries are here looking to work for any wage.

Aye - evade border controls , walk through the Chunnel, claim your new life of benefits, immediate access to first world Medicine, and then ship the family in on Human Rights to family life.
