How much time do you spend on LinkedIn

I'm finding myself spending more and more time on LinkedIn for a variety of reasons:

    - Keeping an eye on the market
    - Keeping an eye on the pimps, their movements and whereabouts
    - Market research for Plan B
    - Just keeping in touch with former colleagues
    - Inspiration/Motivation from the home section

I haven't used it to spam pimps in a while in recent times the gigs have been coming to me rather than the other way round.

most of the updates I see on LinkedIn are spam motivational crap, if I could get rid of that it would be a god send, but there are a few groups I regularly use and contribute to discussions, but finding them among the chaff is increasingly difficult

Apparently I'm among a special group of LinkedIn members selected to receive a 30-day trial to lynda.com, so on that basis I think it's great.

I login in everyday, mostly it's just agents being agents

But for work strangely I get more photographic gigs from staff at ex clients than IT work, it's a funny old world
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It's infested with agents, most of whom seem to be 20 years old with previous experience of flipping burgers.

I used it quite a lot when actively pushing some plan B stuff a while ago, and am on a few technical groups, but generally don't visit the site these days other than to clear out messages.

You are only looking for the bad in it.... You could say a knife causes death but it also has lots of good uses. I have found several gigs through LinkedIn communication and I have got some good information out of it too.
