Should Google pay their fair share of tax?

And what is a fair share?

    #2
If it's going to be about fairness, MPs should have their travel expenses removed first, before we start scapegoating corporations for the failure of government and hence EU tax policies
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Whatever the right solution is, having a private meeting where they make a special deal is not it.

As MPs are so concerned about taxpayers paying a fair share of tax, perhaps they should lead by example

          That is why

How is not receiving travel expenses leading by example to giant multinational companies' tax policies?

What has a travel expense got to do with tax at all?

Depends, are we then in turn going to be asked should we pay our fair share?

What pisses me off is all the reports that they are paying £13m a year on sales of £3.5bn, CT is not a sales tax, I wish they would correct this as I turn off after such a basic error

They should be scrutinised properly rather than removed. Their wages are small but the expenses are huge by comparison. There are better ways of providing accommodation/travel for government officials to and from Whitehall as well as what they should be allowed to claim.
